Meet Rhonda Hampton-Tolbert

Rhonda grew up on the south side of Chicago and fell in love with community involvement. This resolve stuck with her through years of undergraduate studies with a focus on Healthcare in Nursing. She completed her Certificate of Licensed Practical Nurse at Coalition of African American Nurses in 2018 and is currently completing her Bachelors in Liberal Studies. Rhonda participated in community-based learning in small rural communities and urban underserved populations in her studies at Purdue University Northwest. She assisted non-profits while providing housing to homeless individuals through CCIL, a homeless shelter located on the westside of Chicago. Rhonda developed a rooted passion for charitable work and developed Serenity Homes NFP to provide homes for developmentally developed adults in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. Rhonda has been a member of Never 99 since its inception and continues to play a vital role in the organization.
