Meet Jyllian Collins
Ms. Collins is currently employed at CPS-Chicago Public Schools with FACE-Family and Community Engagement Department and previously worked with the Office of Early Childhood at CPS in various capacities. Jyllian Collins is a Southside native of Chicago and mother of two beautiful children. She was educated in the Catholic school system via the Archdiocese of Chicago and is a proud Alumni of Illinois State University with a B.S. in Sociology. Go Redbirds!
Ms. Collins is a natural born leader who believes wholeheartedly in giving back to others within the community, especially those who are less fortunate, disenfranchised and outcast by society.
Ms. Collins is a member of Salem Baptist Church of Chicago-SBCOC. She is a former member of W.O.W-Women of Worship Choir and formally served as an Armor-Bearer for the Music and Arts Ministry at SBCOC.
After years of being a Social Worker and working in the field of Social Service and Criminal Justice (Juvenile Delinquency), Ms. Collins transitioned into the field of Education and accepted a position as an Admission Advisor at American Intercontinental University-AIU Online. Ms. Collins is currently employed at CPS-Chicago Public Schools with FACE-Family and Community Engagement Department and previously worked with the Office of Early Childhood at CPS in various capacities.
Ms. Collins is a humbled, honored and proud member of NEVER 99 NFP organization who is ready and willing to serve the Chicagoland area. Lastly, Ms. Collins believes in the philosophy of "EACH ONE, TEACH ONE, SO YOU'LL BE ABLE TO REACH ONE!" and when one makes the conscious decision to adopt and implement this philosophy into their daily lives, then and only then will you understand the name and concept of NEVER 99…you are NEVER ALONE!"
