Meet Dr. La Tia Collins, Ed.D
Dr. La Tia Collins, Ed.D. began her service-oriented career over thirty-five years ago under the employ of various jobs in the social service and educational arena. La Tia is committed to people thriving in high-quality environments and is dedicated to improving the ethos of the human existence.
Her professional experience exudes servant leadership qualities, and her personal service began in Girl Scouts, continued in her sorority, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated, and propels forward via Never99.
She holds a Master's in Special Education from Chicago State University and a Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from National-Louis University. La Tia is currently an Associate Professor at Prairie State College. The advantages of education, extensive work experience and a great ability to function in leadership roles has propelled her knowledge, skills, and professional disposition. She is diligent, quick-witted, takes pride in her performance, organized, flexible, and provides academic rigor in all of her endeavors. Her humility represents, “Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth; a stranger, and not thine own lips” (Proverbs 27:2).
